One of the most important characters in DBZ, Trunks comes in the Cell saga.  He comes from the future to warn Goku about a few things.  First he tells him not to tell Vegeta and Bulma about him being their son, or else he might not be born.  He said he comes from 20 years into the future(most people don't know his age, but I do.  It's all just simple math.  He also said he was born 2 years later.  20-2=18!) Then he tells him in three years on May 12th at 10:00 a.m., two androids will appear.  He says that the rest of the Z warriors die battling except Gohan.  Then 13 years later, They kill him.  Then he tells him about the heart disease he will get 2 years later.   Then he gives Goku medicine for the disease.  Later he goes to his time machine and goes back to his timeline.  He goes back again and helps the other Z warriors out.  He later dies because Cell shot a hole right through his chest!  After he is wished back to life, he returns to his own timeline.  He also carries a sword given to him by Tapion.Young Trunks comes in a little later.  He becomes best friends with Goten and loves to play pranks.   Then, the horrifying GT Trunks came in.  The new artist, I have to say, really messed Trunks up.  They made him loose his mucles, his coolness, and made him look like a crack head.  Overall, I like Mirai Trunks better.
